meanings, movements, trajectories and rhythms?

OK.. People, and I am not sure other sentient beings aren’t but lets keep with people for now, tend to have a “thing” with meanings. In fact if I began to type here in a c0d3 l1k3 [0000] [00] [0000 00 000], reading this might bore if it took many lines and much time, right?
The boring feeling would be due to perhaps seeming meaningless. How can I relate/link to X is X doesn’t link/relate/speak to me??

However, in reality, or my experience, meanings are not exact – not always. In fact, typing this, I think would probably mean various “things” to different people. “People” is a rough element. A group of humans, a mass, a multitude, a nation, a cloudy audience, a bunching of individuals, a trope to be used when deeper thoughts about describing a more that one amount of humans evade the brain – or just failed by a flailing brain – and so on..
“People” in this case, could be said to be – rather than mean – a range, a certain rainbow. We know it isn’t a shark the guy is talking about, nor a bionic moon, but some stuff to do with humans in one kind of grouping or another. The exact spot in that range, is clearly hard to tell, and perhaps not entirely required to.

However, that “range” or “rainbow” of possible exact meaning – in terms of what the artist meant when she said moo – is the stuff that seems to be interesting for me. How this animal “meaning” is? How does it live? Where does it go? etc. In that sense, I think it might be hypocritical to ask from others to find – or create – meanings as the reason of life, the value, of reason, the being.
Nope meaning creation isn’t. In that sense, contextual art, the one that places x in a context of y to create new possible meanings by the audience is exactly the kind of stuff I do not aim at. Not anymore.

Meaning however, does seem for me to be sort of animal with significance to sentient beings, but as an enabling source rather than a goal, or a definition. In that sense, as an animal on its own, the meaning-strand, is placing sounds into words on a trajectory range, a certain rhythmic movement that characterises the sounds, that turns sounds into possible words with their own unique qualities.
In that sense “people” is a verbally linguistic animal with a rhythmic movement that is both its signature and energy that moves it, feeds it, towards nowhere. Because it is towards nowhere “people” animal can – and is – be played with like a sequence.
In that sense, “people” can be its own, just a sound that today might be used for a bunch of humans, however, tomorrow, conceivably, it can be used for a bunch of amoebas, or sentientised chairs, etc.. This can be done because of the rhythmic range rather than a territorial range – because it moves in spacetime, rather than being stuck in its own “Xanadoo”/”Camelot”/”Jerusalem”/”Mecca” etc..

If meanings are an element of the word-animal, then they are not separate entities towards which a reference to that animal should strive for. Neither to Be the perfect knife, nor the ultimate book, or the ideal wife. The knifeness, the bookness, the wifeness are goals for the objects to go towards, as if the end of a process is already known. Is that an event? An act? A performance? A charade? A show? An insurance policy? A spectacle? A territory? A plane? A prejudice?

Meaning, as a practice we do & do to do over again & again, are we to do it like Pavlov’s dog? Like Macintosh’s chair? Like a dance of a bee? Like a wind in the desert or wind in the sea? Or are we to practice meanings without a Like, just as it is with people rather than trees or rare metals?
If meaninging is a practice, then the focus is on the strands, the sequences of rhythms that drives, moves stuff into being not knowns, into imagining, ays to imagine and let meanings the freedom to become an element of the rhythm’s life and living – or die?

viralismo

Viralismo is the practice of attempting, or hoping, that stuff you do will become VIRAL. Viral, from a rhythmic perspective, is a particle that move Very Very very fast among its hosts. It acquries homes inside its hosts and the speed in which it gets the accommodation and the amount – time before collapse and its multiple folding – is slow. Relatively slow..

Viralismo is the chant of acceptance, the choir, the Amen, the element Agamben – and some other philosophers I forgot their names now – pointed out we live in the most enchanted times through the echo chamber that is the mass media. I think these philosophers talk about opinion survey and their effects, however who argues about the value of 1mil youtube hits as an instant opinion survey? These ofcourse do not reflect like/dislike – but these likeness features are just for human meanings – not for hard cash.. (you can sell to both the ones that like the carrier and dislike it.. Its just audience..)

Viralismo is the meter in which an element’s rhythm shows how comliant the society is. The more viralismos, the quicker virals, the more they are, the further they spread – the more homogenous the rhythm, and so is the society. This shows how a society cultivate the viral, finds solace and comfort in viral elements, in shared, in same, in chewed, in uninterrupted, in harmonious rhythms. Viralismo, like machismo, is a sign of an authoritarian culture. A culture that values authority over all else. A culture that relies on authority, rather than questioning, ambigious, un-understandable, coharse, crass, intelligence, open not-knowing, wonder, education (rather than training), and such – for its sources of energy and motivation. This is a culture that conflates the Other, the goal, the aim, the out-side as an inside. This is a culture of that for the sake of keeping its authorities alive, no matter how living-dead they are, will rely and try to celebrate – rather than question – viralismo as much as possible.

Viralismo is a rhythm of the zombies, of zombification and of ideologies pretending to be. Viralismo is the rhythm of commercial technologies.
Viralismo is precisely what this post attempts to be not, yet seems hoping to be?

ideas of Rhythms

This is just a quick re-cap really regarding some ideas at the “core” of rhythmic based ontology we seem to evolve here..

These are roughly based on the texts we presented in Performance Philosophy conference:
Hilans’ – http://anarchai.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/rhythm-oriented-ontology-in-guilford.html
and
aharons’ – http://aharonic.net/blog/performance-philosophy-paper-cross-questioning-unknowns-with-knowing-nots/

Crossings
Rhythms as elements that cross eachothers’ paths of spacetime.

Trans
Rhythms as elements that require to go beyond the predefined and static. So in a way, to be from the view of a rhythm is to live in and in-between. In that sense rhythms are wholistic.
There is also the trans of movement, of transition and transiency – both in terms of facilitation and movement in itself.

Collapsing
Rhythms live between collapsed elements. In a sense, again, from the point of being a rhythm, you are so long as you are in a process of collapsing. The collaps-ability is the stuff you really know that will happen, and that will make you a rhythm. No collapsing – no rhythm, and viceversa. Again, this is a sort of wholistic idea because it embraces all possibilities without being a negative or positive, sort of meta binary via being neutral.. Via just Being..?

Colliding
Elements of rhythms have to do some colliding. Collision, is perhaps a more physical crossing. Collision has a BANG in it. An explosion. Perhaps the crossing is the silent paths and collision is the meet-up?

Folding
Every rhythm has to fold. I think this might be another way to say Collapse, or that Folding might be a linked or related kind of process. Perhaps more temporal than collapse. In the sense that a collapse is the utter end of a rhythmic sequence and folding is a process that both makes the rhythmic sequence in time, and slowly builds up into the collapse. Like the small wave particles within a wave that is in itself a particle on way to collapse on the beach after a surfer had a go at it..

lap dancer of time

until very recently, I thought that a lap dance was not something like:

more of something like:

done as a dance.

Apart from the lap pun, which might not be very visible hence am saying, i think the “not something like” as a link between the 2 – or possibly 3 – lap dances here, is the actual interesting link to this post. (..also perhaps the dance. because it alludes to some rhythm?)
